The Bogus Woman is the debut production for Breaking Stories Theatre Company.

The play concentrates on the controversial topic of immigration. After publishing something critical of her country’s regime, a woman writer from an ambiguous country flees to England to escape torture and death. Seeking a place of refuge and safety, she finds herself once more a prisoner and a victim of racial and sexual abuse.
